The I'm So Sorry Trend With Your Siblings

How to do the I'm so sorry trend with a photo of you and your siblings: the AI-perfect family portrait first, one lie taken back per slide, the real photo last.

Oct 27, 2026Perdon TrendPerdon Trend

The short answer. The I'm so sorry trend with your siblings is the group version of TikTok's perdon trend photo carousel: slide 1 is an AI-perfect family portrait of you and your siblings (matching outfits, salon hair, a photo studio, perfect smiles), each next slide takes one of those lies back, and the last slide is the real photo with "I'm so sorry". You can make it by hand with an AI photo editor, or from one photo on Perdon Trend, whose Siblings photo style makes every slide with its caption in about 2 minutes, from $4.99.

Updated October 27, 2026.

What the siblings version looks like

It follows the same order as every post of the trend:

  • Slide 1: the family portrait your parents never got, with an opener such as "this was me and my siblings".
  • Middle slides: the same photo, one upgrade fewer each time, with a line that confesses it: "ok i lied, we never dressed like that".
  • Last slide: the real photo, with "I'm so sorry" alone.

We saw sibling photos as a new branch among the popular posts under the English sound of the trend on October 24, 2026. Brazilian posts do it too, with openers like "eu e minha irmã quando éramos crianças" (me and my sister when we were kids), and a Spanish branch does the same with friends.

Why sibling photos work

A real childhood photo of several kids is almost never good: someone blinks, someone pulls a face, the clothes don't match. A posed studio portrait is the opposite, so the gap between slide 1 and the real photo is big. It is also a post you can tag your siblings in.

Making it on Perdon Trend

On Perdon Trend pick the Siblings photo style. It has four lies, each one a slide, taken back in this order:

  1. Matching outfits: everyone in expensive, coordinated outfits.
  2. Salon hair: everyone with neat, glossy hair.
  3. Photo studio: a family portrait studio behind you, with nobody else added.
  4. Perfect smiles: everyone's eyes open, smiling at the camera.

Tick up to 4 of them for up to 5 slides. Every slide is asked to keep every face, age and place in the photo, and the same camera angle. The last lie you tick is taken back by the real photo without a line, as in the posts.

Slide 1: three siblings in matching navy velvet suits with neat hair, smiling on a floral couch

1. this was me and my siblings

Slide 2: the suits are gone, stained hand-me-down clothes

2. ok i lied, we never dressed like that

Slide 3: the hair is messy again

3. our hair didn't look like that either

Slide 4: the plain wall is gone, a cluttered living room with toys

4. and it wasn't a photo studio

Slide 5: the real photo, one sibling squinting and one pulling a face

5. i'm so sorry

The Siblings photo style's sample set: outfits, hair, studio and smiles, one taken back per slide. It starts from an AI-made test photo, not real children.

The preset lines say "my siblings" and "we". For friends or cousins, open the finished set and tap "✎ Edit the words on your slides": you can rewrite every line but the last and move each one up or down the slide, then save again with no new credits.

Which group photo works best

  • Every face visible. Two to four people, faces toward the camera, at least 300 pixels on the short side, in JPG, PNG or WebP.
  • A messy real moment. Blinking, pulled faces and mismatched clothes make the best last slide.
  • Ask first. Everyone in the photo should be fine with it being posted; for children, their parent or guardian decides.

Making it by hand

Without a tool made for the trend, you need an AI photo editor that changes a photo from a text request, and TikTok's text tool:

  1. Upload the photo and ask for one upgrade only, such as matching outfits. Ask it to keep every face, age and place in the photo, and the same camera angle.
  2. Ask for the next upgrade on the picture it just made, and repeat until every lie is on. Check each face after every step; group photos drift faster.
  3. Put the pictures in reverse: the one with every lie is slide 1, your real photo last.
  4. Add the captions on each slide with TikTok's text tool.

Posting it

Save the slides to your phone. In the TikTok app tap +, then Upload, then Photos, pick the slides in order from slide 1 to the real photo, and add the trend's sound. English posts mostly use "original sound - secret"; Spanish posts use a Harrison guitar sound. Our slides have no sound, so you add it in TikTok. For lines to use, see the I'm so sorry trend captions.

Use it responsibly

  • Use a photo of yourself with people who agree to it; you must be 18 or older to use our tool.
  • Uploaded photos are deleted after 7 days and are used only to make your set.
  • Perdon Trend is not affiliated with TikTok or with the creators of the trend's posts and sounds.

Questions people ask

Can you do the I'm so sorry trend with siblings?
Yes. Sibling photos are one of the branches of the trend: slide 1 is an AI-perfect family portrait, each next slide takes one upgrade back, and the last slide is the real photo with "I'm so sorry".
What does the siblings version take back?
On Perdon Trend the Siblings photo style takes back matching outfits, salon hair, a photo studio and perfect smiles, in that order. Every lie is applied to everyone in the photo.
How many people can be in the photo?
Two to four people with their faces clearly visible work best. The style asks the AI to keep every face, age and place in the photo; the more people, the more one face may drift.
Does it work with friends or cousins?
Yes. The style is written for any group photo. Change "my siblings" in the captions on the edit page after the set is made.
