What Song Is the I'm So Sorry Trend?

The I'm so sorry trend music on TikTok: "original sound - secret 👀🫪" for English posts, Harrison's guitar sound for the Spanish perdon trend, and how to add it.

The short answer. The I'm so sorry trend music is not a released song but a TikTok sound: English posts of the photo carousel, the "I'm so sorry I lied" version of the perdon trend, use "original sound - secret 👀🫪", created on October 7, 2026 and used in 174.2K posts as of October 21, 2026. The Spanish trend del perdón, the same joke ending on "Perdón", uses a different one: Harrison's "original sound", a guitar clip of Purple Rain, used in 152.3K posts on the same day. You add either one in the TikTok app when you post the slides. The slides from Perdon Trend come without sound, with a link to the right sound for your language.

English posts use "original sound - secret 👀🫪" and Spanish posts use Harrison's guitar sound; on October 21, 2026 the first was in 174.2K TikTok posts and the second in 152.3K. The counts are the ones each sound's TikTok page showed that day; they keep growing.

"original sound - secret 👀🫪": the English sound

This is the sound under the English posts: the Halloween costume version ("When I was little I was a princess for Halloween… I'm so sorry") and the childhood and sports photos. All 5 English posts we read slide by slide used it, and none used the Spanish guitar sound.

The sound is older than the trend on it. It was created on October 7, 2026, and from October 12 to October 17 it carried a different photo trend, captions like "Add a filter." that ended on an old photo. The "When I was little… / Ok sorry…" format moved onto it on October 19. We sampled 621 posts from the sound's page: new posts went from 63 on October 19 to 407 on October 20, and 579 of the 621 were photo carousels. The page sorts by popularity, so those counts describe our sample, not every post.

The full story of the English branch is in the "I'm so sorry I lied" Halloween costume trend.

Harrison's guitar sound: the Spanish one

The Spanish posts, the trend del perdón, use an "original sound" posted by Harrison. The note pinned on its TikTok page calls it "My favorite part of Purple Rain", tagged #guitar, #guitartok and #electricguitar: a guitar clip of that song.

We sampled 354 posts from that sound's page on October 21, 2026: 318 were photo carousels and 36 were videos. New posts in that sample went from 5 on October 14 to 45 on October 18 and 158 on October 20. The sound is not Spanish-only: the captions in the sample were in Spanish 86 times, English 65 and Portuguese 26, with many posts carrying only hashtags.

Not the other "sorry" songs and trends

"I'm so sorry" and "perdón" are common words, so searches for this sound run into other things:

  • Other "I'm so sorry" trends. Google's results for "im so sorry trend" on October 21, 2026 were mixed TikTok videos and news about brands' fake apologies. The #imsosorrytrend hashtag on TikTok also mixes in other videos; its biggest one, at 46.1 million views, has nothing to do with this trend.
  • "omg i'm so sorry trend". Google suggests this phrase, but we found no post or sound that matches it to this photo trend, so it may be a different, older one.
  • The Camila song "Perdón". Google's results for the perdon trend in Mexico are full of guitar and piano lessons for that song. It is not the sound of this trend.
  • A "perdon" dance. Google also suggests "perdon dance ai", which is a different dance trend, not this photo carousel.

Both sounds of this trend are listed on TikTok as an "original sound", not under a song title: "original sound - secret 👀🫪" for English posts and Harrison's "original sound" for Spanish ones.

How to add the sound to your carousel

Post the slides as a TikTok photo carousel, which plays the photos with music:

  1. Save your slides to your phone.
  2. In the TikTok app tap +, then Upload, then switch to Photos.
  3. Pick the slides in order, from slide 1 to the real photo. The order you pick is the order they play.
  4. Tap Next, then add the sound. Search for "original sound - secret" for an English post, or open the English sound or the Spanish sound page on your phone and use it from there.
  5. Add any caption text you want and post.

A TikTok photo carousel takes up to 35 photos, and every guide we found says it is posted from the app, not the TikTok website. For the whole process, from the photo to posting, see how to do the I'm so sorry trend.

Why our slides come without music

Perdon Trend makes the slides from one photo, with the captions printed on them, and gives them back as photos with no sound. That is how the trend is posted: the sound lives in TikTok, and a photo can't carry it. We have no license to the sounds either, and you don't need one from us: you pick the sound in TikTok.

So the result card has a link, "Add the trend's sound in TikTok", that opens the sound for the page's language: "original sound - secret 👀🫪" on the English site and Harrison's guitar sound on the Spanish one.
